About

People scroll past ads. They pick up their mail.

My Community Mail started as a conversation between two business owners who were tired of paying to be ignored.

Where the mail ends up: inside, on the counter.

I have posted on social media for years, across several businesses, and watched it change. People engage less every year. They do not follow, they do not pay attention, and they hate seeing ads. You cannot tell what is real and what is AI anymore, so most people are on there for a quick hit of dopamine and nothing else. Nobody is really shopping.

My business partner and I kept coming back to the same idea: a mail-out is one of the best ways to advertise. People take in their mail. If something in it looks and feels high quality, there is a real chance they read it. And if they read it and find a great deal, that is how a new customer walks into your business.

The catch is that mailing on your own is expensive. So we asked a simple question: why not have local businesses work together as a community? One mailer, shared. Each business gets its own coupon, everyone splits the cost, and everyone still gets a piece of the cake.

“Our goal is to put your business in front of the people who live around it. That is the most important thing.”

What we stand for.

  • Local, not global

Social media goes out to the whole world. A mailer goes to the homes around your business. It does not get more local than that.

  • Never a competitor beside you

If there is one dental studio on a mailer, there will not be a second. Every mailer is put together so no kind of business repeats.

  • Quality you can feel

People take in their mail. When it looks and feels high quality, they look at it. That is the whole standard we print to.

  • We build the offer with you

The design, the deal, the coupon. We help you make each one worth bringing in, so your spot pays for itself.

The person you talk to is the person doing the work.

Deshawn Ojinnaka runs My Community Mail front to back. From the first conversation to the day your mailer reaches the door, there is no hand-off and no call centre.
